Our Story
We believe in equal pay. Our successful instagram campaign has empowered women in their salary negotiations through highlighting shocking statistics and inspiring stories. Löneförhandlingen (The Salary Negotiation) is an independent initiative aiming to remove the pay gap between men and women by raising the issue and inspire. What started as an instagram campaign @loneforhandlingen is now a non-profit organization with a board consisting of four young women in Stockholm, Sweden. To reach out to more ambitious young women we need a website and for this we need your help.
Why We Need Your Help
We are an all-female team and we are proud of it. Every day we feel strengthened and grateful to be around by strong, encouraging, smart and creative women. A few times a month we take a break from our day jobs and skip the after work or the evening session at the gym to meet and make plans for how to achieve equal pay. However, as for most non-profits, we have very limited resources. Now we launch this small but important crowdfunding campaign to hopefully get a website up and running. We believe this is important for us in order to be able to gain some of the legitimacy that the bigger actors in this area have.
How You Can Help
We believe that increased awareness of the salary gap will lead to change. Help us reach out to more! Our website will be just as beautiful and inspiring as our instagram account @loneforhandlingen and it will serve as a voice and a starting point for equal pay!
