As many of you, we at Lone Star Transportation watched in heartbreak as severe flooding swept through parts of Texas over the holiday weekend.

This post isn’t about what we haul or the services we provide — it’s about standing with our neighbors during one of their most difficult times.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the families who have lost loved ones, those who’ve been displaced, and the first responders working tirelessly in rescue and recovery efforts. We’re proud to have deep Texas roots, and with that comes a responsibility to help however we can.

If you feel moved to donate, we welcome you to join us in supporting those who need it most. We will collect all funds and make a group donation on behalf of Lone Star to the Hill Country Flood Relief Fund through the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.

3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for: The victims of the Texas flooding. We as a company are using this platform to gather donations to do one large donation on behalf of Lone Star.

4. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible): The Community Foundation - a 501(c)(3) public charity serving the Texas Hill Country - will direct funds to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance. The Fund will support the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort. All donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt for your gift.

Grants from the Fund will support nonprofit organizations, first responder agencies, and local governments actively involved in response, relief, and recovery efforts. While we are unable to award grants directly to individuals or families - or to fund repairs to private property or replace personal belongings - we are committed to channeling resources to the trusted organizations working tirelessly to help our neighbors in need. Together, we can make a meaningful difference during this challenging time.
