Londyn Strong

To know Londyn is to know loyalty! Londyn will never hesitate to speak up for justice, speak her mind, or tell you how she really feels. Londyn is currently in the ICU. She has been diagnosed with Mono, Viral Meningitis, Adenovirus, and Rhomboencephelitis. She has been on a ventilator for a week now with hopes of successful removal of the tubes soon. She has had multiple Bronc suctions done along with a collapsed lung situation. She is currently able to communicate using facial expressions and eye blinking. Londyn is scheduled to be in the ICU for roughly 3 months and will have to learn how to walk again through daily physical therapy and will be required to work with speech therapists as well. Londyn never hesitates to step in on behalf of her friends, we are now asking for help in stepping in on HER behalf!

Londy's mom, Amber, is currently staying in the Ronald McDonald Foundation housing during this time but has not been able to work so she can be with her daughter. As we all know, life continues to move forward when things happen and bills continue to come in. Amber also cares for a 2-year-old grandchild that she has adopted. As you can imagine, there are a lot of financial needs associated with their situation. With being over an hour away from home, there has been a lot of traveling and meal needs and this will continue for the foreseeable future. The likelihood of Londyn coming home in a wheelchair is very high. This will require a lot of changes to their current home, if not a full move into a ranch style home, to accommodate her recovery needs.

We love Londyn so much and are ready to have her back in our daily lives! We are praying for full, restorative healing during this time!
