London Rae's Road To Recovery

Donation protected
Dear Friends & Family,
On Sunday August 23, 2015 at 9:15pm London Rae Turner was born at Newton Wellesley Hospital.  During London's arrival our doctors had to perform an emergency C-section due to a decrease in heart rate which also impacted the amount of oxygen delivered to her different organs.  In addition, after her arrival we learned there was a large amount of meconium (feces) in her lungs which caused her to have difficulty breathing.

A few days after birth, her lungs were still struggling to work to full capacity without assistance.  Today (exactly 8 days later) our princess is growing stronger and positively pulling through all the tests, therapies and medications thanks to your prayers and intercession on our family's behalf.

All in all, It's been a tough week for our family both emotionally and physically, as London has been under 24 hour care since the time she was born and will continue to need assistance for a few more weeks.  With this said, we have decided to start this account for any of you who may be interested or seeking a way to assist our family at this time.

There are so many costs associated with getting London back on track, and unfortunately these are not covered by our insurance. The X-rays, MRI, Neuro imaging, heart and lung scans, her daily supply of oxygen and a number of medications that help the blood flow from her heart to her lungs amongst other things.  In addition to the costs of London's specialty treatments are the fees we pay to be able to board at the hospital or a nearby hotel, just to be near our daughter during this critical time.

Again, Ray and I are extremely thankful for YOU, as we would not have been able to get through this time without your love, support and prayers.  We will forever be indebted to you.

MIRACLE NOTE!!!  Because the doctors hadn't immediately realized the impact to her lungs after delivery, they were actually able to immediately focus their attention on giving her a cooling therapy aimed at avoiding any brain damage and  developmental issues which was critical for the first 72 hours... Praise God for his perfection...!!!!

We Love You All!!
