London-Birmingham Running Challenge
Donation protected
Our amazing Leasa has been having a really tough time. After fighting triple negative breast cancer for months and then getting the all clear, just a few days later she was given the devastating news that her cancer has spread to her spine and is considered terminal.
My wife, Jenny (Leasa's sister) and I intend to run the equivalent distance of London to Birmingham and back (202 miles) in time to 'visit' for Leasa's birthday!!
Jenny will run 101 miles in 2 weeks - roughly 7.25 miles per day
Luke will run 101 miles in 1 week - roughly 14.5 miles per day
We are raising these funds as part of a bigger campaign in order to help Leasa with the fight to keep their family of three together for as long as possible. Leasa’s next treatment with the NHS is to slow down the cancer’s growth and ease her pain.
We are now searching in earnest for a trial that could help with a cure. Leasa, her family and army of supporters are firm believers that there is something out there that can help. If she finds something then the funds need to be there so she can get going ASAP. This is now critical and we need to work to get this sorted as soon as we can.
Any little donation helps.
Thank you from Leasa, Phil, Little Max and everybody who loves her xxx
Thank you :-)
