London to Brighton cycle for Suzie
Donation protected
Our good friend and team mate Suzie has cancer. She was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer in 2017, and since then has fought incredibly hard to beat it.
She has had 3 surgeries, 6 rounds of chemo, 5 weeks of radiotherapy and now has started an immunotherapy drug which seems to be working! However, this drug comes at a crazy price of £114,000 per year, and Suz needs 2 years treatment with it.
So far she has raised an incredible £150K, and our aim to help her get even slightly closer to her target of £250,000.
A group of keen hockey players (including Suz herself) from East London Hockey Club ladies 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams are cycling from London to Brighton on Sunday 11th July 2020 to raise a bit of extra cash for Suzie's treatment.
We would be so grateful if you could donate anything you can - we appreciate that Covid-19 has been a very difficult time for many, so even just sharing our fundraising link would be really helpful.
Thanks for your support, and see some of you at the finish!
