LONDON THEATRE INTERNSHIP FOR EDEN

Hello,

 

My name is Eden Sides. I am currently a theatre major at Cal Baptist University in my junior year. When I was 7-years-old, I begged my parents to take me to the Shakespeare festival down the street from our home. They consented, thinking I would grow bored within the first few minutes, but I loved it, even though I didn't understand anything the actors said.

 

Then, when I was 12-years-old, my mother made me audition for a musical theatre production at our church. After that experience, I knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

 

Now, I have an opportunity to be an intern in London at a theatre for two months this summer. I'll get to be part of the theatre arts industry there, see what it's all about, meet people, and gain work experience. Plus, it will count as six credits toward my major. But my current scholarships will not cover this residency, which means I will need all the help I can get. So, if you can give anything at all, I would so appreciate it.
