London Marathon for my Dad & The Charity Hospital
Photo below, Dad and I with my sons Blake & Zaine.
I have decided to run the London Marathon on October 3rd 2021 for my incredible father Mr Eddie Brower after being in a coma for many months, with Covid19. Dad went into hospital in early January and still isn’t home with his wife Hazel. Dad is in the Royal Hospital for Nero Disability in Putney. The NHS in Whipps Cross and while in intensive care at the royal london in Whitechapel, were amazing. We currently are at the stage of dad in a wheelchair and having rehabilitation to walk again and look after himself independently, trying to build up muscle from severe muscle wastage and his legs being bent for so many months in icu, while bed ridden.
Dad is having a 6 hour operation on the 28th September to release the tendons as his knees are locked and cannot straighten them.

Dad is my superhero he really has been through it Covid causing a collapsed lung, pneumonia, sepsis, bleed to the brain and encephalitis (swelling to the brain) and kidney failure.
My hero has been through all of this.

As a family we want to thank the RHN and the NHS for everything they have done for dad. Mr Edward Brower.
Praying he will be home soon and back playing tennis with his friends from the David Lloyd club and back watching the West Ham football games with his family. He is a Huge fans!
Every penny donated will go to dads rehabilitation aftercare and the charity hospital the Royal Hospital for Nero Disability

These include music therapy, assistive technology for communication, occupational therapy art and wheelchair and chaplaincy services.
