Double marathon challenge supporting 2 life changing causes!

Donation protected
On 26 April 2026, I’m taking on the toughest challenge of my life. I'll be running two full marathons in less than 24 hours to raise money and awareness for two causes that are very close to my heart: Brain Research UK and the Flawed Hero Movement.

The challenge starts when the clock strikes midnight. I’ll join 300 others in Letchworth for the Flawed Hero Marathon. Once I’ve completed the 26.2 miles, I’ll head straight to London to take on another 26.2 miles at the London Marathon.

So, why am I taking on this crazy challenge?

Well, I’ve run the London Marathon for Brain Research UK twice before, and in doing so I’ve been so inspired by the people I’ve met. These are people who have overcome life changing injuries, serious disabilities, and devastating diagnoses just to reach the start line. And then, against the odds, they keep pushing through to reach the finish.

I’m very lucky that I’m fit, healthy and I’ve never had to face anything close to what so many others live with every day. So, I have no excuses. I know this challenge will push me to my physical and mental limits and that’s the point. I want to see what I’m capable of and whilst doing so, raise as much money and awareness as I can for two very important causes.

Now, let me tell you a little more about the two causes I’m supporting.

Brain Research UK is the leading funder of research into neurological conditions. Every penny raised goes towards finding cures or treatments for conditions such as brain tumours, epilepsy, strokes, migraines and brain/spinal cord injuries.

All of these areas have had a direct impact on the lives of my close family and friends. I know what it's like to sit in hospital, by the bedside of a loved one suffering from these conditions, wishing there was more that could be done to help them. I also know, from talking to some of the researchers into these conditions, that there is much more that could be done if only more funding was available.

This research is life-changing, not only for those suffering from the neurological conditions, but for those caring for and supporting them too.

The Flawed Hero Movement is there to support everyone navigating mental health issues and life’s inevitable setbacks.

Its ethos is rooted in connection, acceptance, and movement as medicine. It creates space for people, especially those who feel broken or unseen, to heal, connect, and grow.

All money raised for the Flawed Hero Movement supports both children and adults and is used to provide coaching, workshops, and tools to help them navigate life’s toughest moments. Quite simply, the more money we can raise for them, the more people they can reach.

These two amazing organisations are doing vital work and with your help this can continue.

All donations are gratefully received and will be collected via GoFundMe. They will then split the donations 75% to Brain Research UK, and 25% to the Flawed Hero Movement.

Please support me if you can. Every pound you donate goes towards research, recovery, and restoring hope for people facing some of life’s hardest battles.

Thank you.
