I'm a theatre maker in London.

I work a full-time job in retail writing writing plays and trying to get them on stage.

I moved to London in 2024 to pursue an MA in Creative Writing and I graduated in 2025 with Distinction (highest honours) after writing a full-length play as my thesis.

I struggled to find housing for much of the time I've lived in London and now am looking for a way to live closer to work (or find well-paying remote work).

A monologue I wrote was produced at a festival in November 2025!! It is my first produced theatre piece and a dream come true. I cannot believe I made it through so many challenges and I would never have gotten this far without all the help from friends and family.

Any further support will be appreciated, as I have been working many overtime shifts to get back on track. I will also gleefully accept messages of love and encouragement. ❤️

⭐️ I'm raising funds to help pay ongoing expenses including a potential rental deposit.

I'm continuing to submit myself and my writing work for writing contests, awards and grants on top of applying for jobs.

Backstory about me:
I have loved the performing arts since I was a kid. I performed in my first theatre production at 16 and worked on my first crew at 21. At 28, I finally made it to the big city of Chicago and fulfilled one of my dreams which was to study improvisation and sketch comedy at The Second City and iO theatres.

(I'm Glinda in this photo.)

When I was young, I was told I wasn't a good writer, but since my arrival in Chicago in 2012, I have been encouraged by teachers, directors, and other performers in my storytelling, both improvised and written.

3 years ago, I started writing about my travels and about dog sitting and I got so many messages about how people loved my writing and my adventures. I began to gain confidence in myself and my writing. I realized that people do want to hear what I have to say.

So, I applied to graduate school for writing. And I did it!

I have had to give up my main sources of income to begin my studies. For the past 4 years, I have supported myself as a freelancer writing white papers and websites for companies, tutoring English online, and dog sitting.

Funds are being raised in USD but will be converted to GBP.

Thanks for reading this far! I will continue to write you stories and share so many photos of the UK (mostly London) on my socials.

And a HUGE thanks to everyone who has read this far. Any donations will mean the world to me! Feel free to send me a message asking for a photo or for me to name a character after you. ❤️
