Hi Everyone,

 

We are the London Ladies Gaelic Football Team, and we are currently training to hopefully take part in the TG4 Junior Championship this summer.

 

This year has been our first foray back into competitive football since 2019 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Therefore, we want to ensure that we have every chance of success when preparing to take part in this competition, to be played mainly in Ireland.

 

We are very lucky in that we have a generous sponsor, John Reddington of JRL Group who has funded our travel back and forth to Ireland for the National League games in Feb/Mar this year and who has committed to doing the same for the upcoming Championship matches. We would not have been able to do this without his help.

 

However, there are a host of other costs associated with running a county football team in London. We are hoping to take part in a training camp leading up to the Championship Competition in June, which will be great for team bonding - a huge requirement for success - as well as the huge benefit of building on our current training programme.
