London Fringe 2024: While We Wait

FRINGE theatre is the phrase used to describe theatre that is made outside of main large-scale theatre institutions and companies. You wouldn’t believe it, but many of your favourite theatre shows, tv shows, and movies began as FRINGE theatre (Stomp, Fleabag, SIX: The Musical, and so much more!).

The first official FRINGE Festival began in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1947 to increase the arts after World War Two. Today it has grown to include FRINGE festivals all over the world, including London, Ontario!

FRINGE shows are almost exclusively funded by the actors/writers involved in the show.

Our show, While We Wait , has been accepted to the London FRINGE festival on August 13-17, 2024 and we are looking for some help to offset the costs of set pieces, props, and the participation fee.

While We Wait, tells the story of two old friends, packed and prepared for the adventure of a lifetime. The audience meets them at the bus stop ready to embark but it’s unclear when the next bus will arrive. As they wait, the audience will learn more about them, their relationship, and what they do to pass the time waiting.
