Urgent plea to help my closet Friends Melissa and Bryce and their 4 wonderful children who just days after their mother made the most magical Christmas for the whole family just to have it all go up in smoke!
*Edit we just doubled our fundraiser goal since Trucks the cat's vet bill is coming to close to $6,000 and climbing. We've included the bill and just hopeful we can help with not only their start from scratch for their family but also to reunite them with their family cat. I know how hard this time of year is for everyone and appreciate the shares and cares from our beautiful community and if you can't give today, perhaps soon. Either way Thankful they made it out alive and blessed*

Thankful for their lives and no sustained damage known at this time for running through the flames to alert and retrieve their partner children and family pet ; thankful for their Hero Son Quinton alerting to the suspicious sounds and smells of the fire.
The family cat Trucks (who was awesome and got his name cause he was Rescued off a garbage truck when Bryce worked at a Recycling plant) unfortunately was unable to be recovered during the evacuation however Fire fighters were able to rescuciate the feline and have him at the emergency vet with a 800 bill hoping to recover...***update Trucks is doing well and may be going "home" (in quotes since they are currently homeless) in a few days . But so far their 72 hour stay is close to $6000 for the emergency vet bill alone ***
The family is very active in sports and although I was able to help with clothes /pullups for their for their youngest. They lost EVERYTHING including their sons competitive Hockey equipment, daughters volley ball gear, all their winter gear school supplies. This is devastating and I am thankful to also have a big family and be able to give the Mama some warm pj's and change of clothes as well as socks and dry boots for the family.
If you could help in any way even if it's just Prayers for the wellbeing of this family's heads and hearts in this humbling time. Please do. God bless and may you have a blessed holiday season. Thanks for your shares and turning this tragedy into an outpour of support. Let's bring back the village and come together as the community we are and get this family into a new home.
