London Calling: My YWAM Adventure Begins!

Hi, my name is Eva Clark, and I’ve been accepted for a YWAM DTS!

 

I was born an adventurer, and love exploring new places and deepening my relationship with God. Last year, I finished high school at an Outdoor semester school in the mountains of NC, where I discovered more about who God is and how He sees me. I also learned I can do hard things :)

 

On my next adventure, I'll be traveling to London to join a five-month Discipleship Training School (DTS). This (DTS) is a life-changing course where I hope to grow more in my knowledge and relationship with God. From living in a community to meeting new people and sharing new experiences, I’m excited about this opportunity!

 

The first three months are called the lecture phase, and they will be spent in London. This is where I will learn more about how to hear God’s voice, biblical principles and foundations, as well as further discover who I am.

 

I am bringing my camera as there is a strong emphasis on the arts and I am excited to explore filmmaking.

 

The last two months are the outreach phase where I will put into practice everything I learned. During outreach, I will be involved in activities such as working alongside local churches or YWAM bases, street evangelism, visiting refugee camps, orphanages, and more.
