Tour de Who? Help Me Cycle to Paris (Oui, Really)
This September, I’ll be cycling from London to Paris—roughly 175 miles in under 48 hours—with Morgan Stanley, raising money for three magnifique charity partners:
Place2Be – supporting children’s mental health
Save the Children – fighting for children’s rights globally
The Felix Project – tackling food waste and hunger
Sounds impressive, right? There’s just one petit detail: I haven’t ridden a bike since I was a teenager, when the only thing I cared about was whether my Walkman skipped while I cycled.
So naturally, I’ve decided to launch myself across the English Channel (not literally, thank God) on two wheels, powered by adrenaline, ambition, and questionable decision-making.
Training is underway—mostly me sweating on a Peloton, wondering if croissants count as carbs and motivation. By September, I’ll be part-cyclist, part-baguette.
If you can spare a few pounds (or euros), I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation helps fuel these legs—and more importantly, supports amazing charities making a real difference.
Merci beaucoup, and wish me bon courage!
