Hi, my name is Anne Williams, and I am fundraising for Lona Peterson and her son, Christian.

Christian was on an electric scooter earlier this week and was tragically hit by a car. He has a severe brain injury and immediately had surgery to bring down the swelling. He is in a coma, and thankfully, will survive. He has a long road ahead of him with recovery and rehab. He just graduated college in May from Arkansas State and is living in California. Lona immediately caught a flight to be with Christian in CA. As many of you know, Lona is one of the most hard-working single mama's out there and has her sweet daughter, Ella, 11, to care for at home as well. This has been life-changing, shocking and overwhelming for Lona and her family. She will be traveling a fair amount to CA, as well as moving Christian, when he is ready, to Portland to start his rehab. The journey is going to be a long one, so I ask that you think of our friend and her family at this time. Anything helps and Lona is beyond appreciative.
