A SECOND CHANCE FOR MY FUR BABY

Lolo is a sweet, seven-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix with big, loving eyes and a heart full of joy. She may be small, but her spirit is boundless. Ever since she was rescued 5 years ago from the Wash, she has been a loyal companion, bringing comfort and happiness to everyone she meets.

But recently, something has changed. Lolo isn’t as playful as she used to be. She struggles to jump onto her favorite spot on the couch, and she winces when she tries to roll over for belly rubs. A visit to the vet revealed the heartbreaking reason—Lolo has a painful hernia on her lower stomach. The hernia is growing, and without surgery, it could lead to serious complications.

Recently, I faced an unexpected challenge when I was laid off from my job. This sudden change has brought financial uncertainties, especially concerning the health care for Lolo.
