Hello my names Gabrielle I'm mother to the most amazing sweet little girl named Lolly. Lolly is 2 years old and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, brain damage, dystonia, developmental delays, vison and eatting difficulties and now epilepsy. Lolly's journey has been long and hard but she is our little fighter we just want to give her a fighting chance with all the medical equipment and home support we can. Last Tuesday was one of the worst days of our lives. We went to get lolly up for breakfast but found her having a full body sezuire watching my baby shaking uncontrollably while foaming from the mouth was any parents worst nightmare. The sezuire lasted 50 minutes while paramedics managed to stop the sezuire she was rushed to hospital. Her tests in the past have shown the potential she could have epilepsy. we hoped that day would never come but I was wrong and it breaks me to know she has one more medical condition to fight. Lolly is non verbal and unable to walk or fed herself she has a swallowing condition that makes eating anythink other than pured food a choking hazard. she has to have prescription thickners added to any drink as she is at risk of choking or inhaling her drinks. Lolly has medical equipment supplied by our hospital for home use but unfortunately they cannot supply everything. What we need for lolly is monitors for day and night and other equipment to help her day to day living and safety. This has been a hard and exhausting journey so far and we're only at the beginning so I know there's lots more to come.
