We are Marlucia and Larissa, we are raising money for Lolly's medical treatment.
The money will be used to pay for her surgeries, both ears canal removal, spaying and dental cleaning, plus any medication.
We need to wait until her ears are less swollen to do the surgery.
Please read Lolly's story:
On Thursday, Oct. 13th 2016 Lolly a Cocker Spaniel was brought to us for grooming, when Marlucia (pet store owner, Golden Paws Pet Grooming) saw her, she was in shock, Lolly smelled really bad, it was a mix of ear infection with urine and stool.
Marlucia asked the person who brought her in what happened and he said that he bought her but couldn’t stay with her anymore so he gave her to someone else but it seemed like that person wasn’t taking a good care.
It was really hard to see Lolly in those condition, she is beige, but she was mustard color; her ears were all swollen do to chronic ear infection; we couldn’t see her pads do to how long the hair was. We didn’t know where to start, we were all heartbroken. Marlucia said” In 12 years of business I have never seen a dog in such a bad condition”.
That same day we decided to rescue and take care of Lolly, we took her to the vet that same day and they said that do to her chronic ear infection both of her ear canals must be removed, her paws are swollen do to allergies, she lost half of the hair on her ears do to an infection.
To me, Larissa one of the hardest things to watch was when she came out of the vet office and her ear was dripping blood, she would shake her head and blood would go everywhere, I would put my hands on her trying to make her stop shaking her head.
Lolly is an angel, she's so sweet and thankful for all we have done for her. To see her healthy again is a big joy for us.
Please help us relieve her pain and give her a second chance to a better life. We really appreciate any help.
