Dear momma,
If I had known the last day I held your hand would be the last I would have held on much longer. I wish I had given you your roses in life; I was presumptuous in thinking I had more time. I want you to go to your final resting place knowing I will be just fine. I can still feel your prayers covering me. You raised me right, I can take it from here. Everybody admires my resilience, my tenacity, my nurturing nature; I wonder if they know that part of me is you...well now they do!
Most of you may know my mother, Lolita, has spent the last 18 years on an uphill battle against Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and in 2021 suffered from a stroke. Never did she ever think of letting go. Within the course of a month she gravely fell ill and held on for as long as she could. 01/11/2023 was the day of her last breath. Because of her health issues she has not been employed for sometime now and was not able to keep up payments on her life insurance policy.
Please, if you can, do what you can to contribute to her going home ceremony and burial.
