Hi, my name is Daniel and my partners name is Saskia. We have a newborn of 5 months, and an 11 year old.

Our third child is Lola. She is a 15 month old cocker spaniel with the sweetest heart ever. Since yesterday 09.05.2026 she has been under medical care because her kidneys have failed. She has not eaten in 14 days, is suffering from extreme nausea, 3 kg weight loss (12kg -> 8.8kg) and her kidneys are not working. She has been on 24/7 iv drip, to try and keep her toxins lower.. that have built up to be over 20x the regular values of an average dog today.

At the moment everything looks very grim, we fear to have to put her down tomorrow or the following day and were torn with the idea of our little baby not spinning in circles for every exciting ring of the door bell, running infinite circles around the park and having a blast meeting dogs around the house.

She has no energy, and she doesnt deserve this at all. In that regard no animal does.

The medical costs for the first night are above 2000 euros. The first initial visit has been 500 euros. We are now on day two, and as her insurance does cover an amount, the main part is financially not possible to meet with our current situation.

Kindly i ask the community to help support our dog, so we can give her every possible best option to the very last moment.
