Help Lola beat cancer!

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Isa, and I'm fundraising to cover the costs of my dog, Lola's, tumor removal surgery. Lola is a sweet and noble 12-year-old dachshund (Weiner dog) mix. I adopted her nearly 3 years ago from a local shelter. She recently became a big sister to Scoot, another rescue pup.

Two weeks ago, an MRI and ultrasound confirmed that Lola has early-stage liver cancer. She also has a sizeable, but benign tumor in her spleen, that can rupture and bleed out at any moment.

She is not currently in pain, as we caught the disease early. This is why her primary vet and an experienced oncologist, highly suggested removing the malignant tumor in her liver and her spleen so that she can beat cancer. The oncologist is quite certain Lola will be cancer-free after the surgery, given that the cancer is in the early stages, and that she will be able to live out the rest of her years (dachshunds can live to be 18!) in health and peace. I have scheduled her surgery for January 7, 2023.

However, the pre-surgery exams, surgery, and post-surgery care/medicine will cost over $6,500. I am asking for your help to cover the bulk of these costs so that Lola can fully recover and live out the rest of her golden years with the quality of life she deserves. Please consider helping her today with anything you can or spreading the word to others so she can begin the new year cancer free! It would be the best holiday present for her, her brother, and the many people whose lives she brightens. Thank you for taking the time to learn about Lola and being part of her journey to being cancer-free!
