Hi my name is Lauren .

I re homed my dog lokko after his owner was struggling to care for him properly.

I missed the deadline for his exemption ban .

I managed to get liability insurance on him and called 101 and let them know I had missed it and had an XL bully " dangerous dog " in my property.

I was assured on the phone that somebody from dog liaison team would come and asses my dog in my property.

On the 31st of January 2024 after I made the call up untill Sunday 1st June 2025 I had no contact from police .

1st of June on a Sunday morning 2 female dog liaison officer knocked my door to seize lokko under the dangerous dog act .

I was threatened with a warrant for arrest if not complying to willing hand my dog over .

Obviously this came as a shock to my family as I was told he would be assessed in my house. Lokko is now being held in police kennels and is waiting a court date .

I have been given no timing for this.

Lokko comes from a family of 2 other dogs including a french bulldog and Staffordshire bulldog .

And four children.

All of which are extremely upset and missing him .

I offered lokko a loving home after his bad start in life .

We all miss him so much .

I am please asking for help towards court fees and vet fees .
