Hi My name is Mckinzie and i am fundraising for my cat Lokis medical expenses. He is a 2 year old baby who has had no previous health issues. I woke up this morning unable to find him, he was hiding, unable to walk and did not want me to touch him.

The emergency vet found a severe bladder obstruction and quoted me 3-5 thousand dollars to remove it. I attempted to apply for care credit and scratch pay and was denied for both. I asked my grandparents for help and was told it’s time to put him down instead… I know times are tough for everyone at the moment but anything would be appreciated as he is my will to live and has gotten me through so much trauma in the last two years i genuinely don’t know what i would do if i lost him. i have been completely blindsided by this as he has no prior history of any health concerns (i’ve had him since he was 2 months old)

update-3/20/24- I managed to get them to perform the surgery. the chance of it happening again are high in males.

MORE CONTEXT- the total from the vet for the procedure came to $2630. i was able to put a down payment of $500 with what little i had to get him unblocked and he is now under my 24/7 care at home!
