Loki’s care for atypical respiratory illness

Hi all, I never thought I’d find myself here but I’m really in need of help. My dog Loki has been in his normal state of health until 5/18 when he woke me up in respiratory distress. After rushing him to the emergency vet and a series of tests plus ICU care for five days, the team at his current hospital does not have any answers for me. I have decided to transfer him to NC State for further work up. Loki has never been sick a day in his life. As many of you know, he is an active, happy boy with a zest for life, I can’t give up on him. Anything at all that you can give would be appreciated as I’m already in the hole and this next leg of the journey is going to be even more expensive. Thank you so much.
