Loki, a rescue kitty’s, Fight For Life
Donation protected
Loki was a rescue kitten along with 4 other brothers and sisters. He was the runt and had some issues but his foster mommy Kelli Uderitz took such good care of them. Janet Iwata-Bartelme adopted Loki along with his 2 brothers Lucas and Oliver. She could not separate them. His too sisters were adopted by another friend Lisja Doucette. Loki has been struggling with urinating and after a couple of trips to the vet, he is not better. He has crystals in his bladder, his bladder wall is swollen and now it is blocked. As a result he has not been able to poop as well. The visits and medications have already cost Janet and Wayne over $500. Emergency care to flush out the bladder was $800. Now he is back in the hospital at At Home Animal Hospital. They have to put him under anesthesia and insert a catheter and keep him for a couple of days. This will cost around $1000 if all goes well. Not including the special prescription diet food he and his brothers will now have to eat and medication he will have to be on. We would like to keep the 3 brothers together. Janet and Wayne also have their hands full with a 3 year old French Bull Zeke that has GME and have spent well over $10,000 for his care. Zeke is deteriorating and is losing his right side mobility and needs constant bathroom trips. Janet is currently not working. We realize the Holiday season is upon us and know everyone needs to take care if their families first but if you are able to contribute in any way no matter how small, Janet & Wayne would greatly appreciate it as well as Loki and his brothers.
