Loj Memorial for Daniel Meer

Last May, we were all shaken by the sudden loss of our dear friend Daniel Meer. Many of us gathered virtually and in person to honor his memory and celebrate his life.

As we approach the anniversary of his loss, we are organizing a celebration of Daniel’s life from Saturday, July 9th, 2022 to Sunday, July 10th, 2022 at the Tufts Loj. As a part of this celebration, we are also commissioning an art installation from someone in our community who knew Daniel, to honor his immense contributions to the Tufts outdoor community. We will unveil the piece at the event.

We are collecting donations to cover the cost of the weekend (art materials, food, etc) and to make a donation to Tufts Mountain Club in Daniel’s memory. Whether you are able to join or not, we welcome donations of any size.
