Hi all,

 

We will forever remember Lois Spritzer as a talented writer, who taught us all what it means to truly love someone as she loved her husband Gil. More important, she taught us all what it means to age with style and grace.  She was 

 

To honor her memory, I am setting up this scholarship fund. Please donate whatever you can...no amount is too small. We will use the money to award a scholarship in Lois' honor to an English major attending Long Island University's C.W. Post Campus.

 

Lois was a beloved member of the writing community at LIU's Hutton House, where she delighted her classmates with weekly excerpts from her memoir.  I am thankful that Lois allowed me to save her work in manuscript form.  Ironically, her last two installments were tributes to her beloved children, Marc and Wendy. I will compile these pieces and intend to present them to her family, as I know she would want them to know how deeply they were loved.
