Loïs goes YWAM Amsterdam

Hoi lieve lezer,

Na mijn DTS in Londen en mijn korte bijbelschool in januari sprak God erg duidelijk dat ik deze school mag gaan doen. Deze school (School of Biblical Studies) zal 9 maanden zijn, fulltime en intern bij YWAM Amsterdam. Tijdens deze school zal ik verschillende studiemethodes leren om de bijbel te lezen en aan het einde van de school zal ik zo’n 4 tot 5 keer de hele bijbel hebben gelezen. Best een intense school dus…. :)

Maar dit betekent dus ook dat ik voor een heel schooljaar weg ben, als ‘zendeling’ zal leven en voor het grootste deel afhankelijk ben van giften.

Hierbij wil ik jullie graag vragen of je erover na wil denken, en aan God wil vragen of je mij financieel mag of kan helpen. Dit kan met een kleine maandelijkse bijdrage gedurende de 9 maanden dat ik weg ben, of natuurlijk een eenmalig bedrag als donatie om mee te helpen deze school te kunnen betalen.

De kosten van de school zijn €9450-. Ik betaal in drie semesters en momenteel heb ik al €5000-. kunnen sparen, maar dit betekent dat er best nog wel wat bij moet. Ik heb geloof dat God volledig zal voorzien in financiën voor deze school en zie er enorm naar uit nog meer te mogen leren uit Zijn woord en over wie Hij is.

Via whatsapp zal ik een groep aanmaken om updates te sturen aan mensen die voor mij bidden tijdens de school, donateurs, maar ook vrienden, familie en kennissen.

After my DTS in London and my short Bible school in January, God spoke very clearly to me about doing this school. This school (the School of Biblical Studies) will be 9 months, full-time and internal at YWAM Amsterdam. During this school I will learn different study methods to read the Bible and at the end of the school I will have read the entire Bible about 4 to 5 times. Quite an intense school... :)

But this also means that I will be away for an entire school year, will live as a 'missionary' and will be largely dependent on donations.

I would also like to ask you if you would like to think about it and ask God if you can help me financially. This can be done with a small monthly contribution during the 9 months that I am away, or as a one time donation to help pay for this school.

The costs of the school are €9450. I will pay in three semesters and I have currently already managed to save €5,000, but this means that I still need to add some more. I have faith that God will fully provide finances for this school and I'm looking forward to learning more from His word and about who He is.

I will create a group through WhatsApp to send updates to people who pray for me during school, donors, but also friends, family and acquaintances.
