Lois Davey has worked at QRC Logistics as a Customer Service Representative for over 30 years. Lois is well liked by her QRC peers and has always been a very dedicated, hardworking employee.
Her family is the focus of her life and Lois has generously help raise and support 7 grandchildren that live with her. About 14 years ago, Lois became a widow and lost her husband to prostate cancer. In April 2018 Lois was diagnosed with A3 Lung Cancer and has had to takea leave of absence from work and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
As if juggling all that wasn't enough, even for the superwoman we all know Lois to be, on June 5th Lois’ family home in Vaughan, caught on fire and there is an estimated damage of $100,000.00. Unfortunately, there is no home insurance coverage. The family has been displaced and currently is not able to stay in the home they have known and loved for almost 25 years.
We are asking for donations to help a woman who has dedicated her life and given unselfishly to those she loves most, her children and grandchildren. This woman deserves to have peace of mind in knowing that there are those who care about her and who appreciate the kind and generous woman she is.
