Hi, our names are Tina Ingram and Reece Hawkins, and we are fundraising to support our gorgeous little granddaughter/niece, Lois, as she begins the fight of her life.

Lois is a bright, beautiful 6 year old little girl who lives in the small regional town of Baradine, NSW, with her loving mum Drew, her dad Teigan, and her cheeky two-year-old brother Knox.

Since August last year, Lois has been in and out of hospital with ongoing unexplained illness. She has had multiple admissions to Dubbo Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, with doctors struggling to find answers. During this time, Drew and Teigan have used all of their leave while travelling hours from home to make sure Lois received the care she needed.

In November, Lois underwent a bone marrow biopsy to rule out leukaemia. She was given the all clear and discharged — still without a diagnosis.

Two weeks ago, Lois became unwell again and was urgently transferred back to Sydney Children’s Hospital. On Friday, she underwent another bone marrow biopsy.

This morning, Drew and Teigan heard the words no parent should ever have to hear:

“I’m so sorry… Lois has leukaemia.”

Lois now faces a long and intensive treatment journey, far away from home. In these critical early stages, Drew and Teigan need to be by her side together. This means time away from work, ongoing travel, accommodation costs, and the heavy financial strain that comes with living hours from the hospital.

Right now, their focus needs to be 100% on Lois — not on bills, lost income, or how they will manage day-to-day expenses.
