Meghan here.  We need help.

My mother's care has been way more intense than I had anticipated and is just going to get more challenging as the cumulative effects of her radiation and chemo treatments begin.

We (well, I) did not anticipate the financial hit that her care would be to all three of us.  Her co-pays are not small (in just the last 3 trips to the pharmacy, I've spent about $500), and the over the counter stuff is nickel and diming us to death.

Also, my car got stolen last Thursday, with EVERYTHING in it. I have a loaner costume for the Dickens Fair (which is my only income at the moment), but I still need a water bottle and cooler at least for my mom's trips up to treatments in Sacramento.  I live in Vallejo, about an hour away.

The gas has also been a huge financial hit.  UC Davis Comprehesive Cancer Center is the closest to us, but 50 or so miles each way every day is really adding up.

Additionally, I have not been able to work my job at Davis or complete my class work, which may affect my financial aid...

I know that times are tough for everyone these days, especially with the holidays coming up, and I am so sorry to ask, but we might need to replace my car here soon to keep getting her to treatments and with all this additional expense, we don't know how we are going to pay rent this month.
