Let’s Help Out with Loid’s Recovery!

Hey there, this is Ryon G by now you’ve probably heard Loid M Loid was hit pretty bad on his motorcycle a few weeks ago causing him to tumble across 880 and landing him in the hospital overnight. If you haven’t heard, he wrote it up on his Facebook page. It looks like he’s going to need some considerable time to heal up, his right arm is mostly unusable for a while and he’s been in pain, and the bike was a total loss. We should help him out! Hard to say exactly when he’ll be back working again so I think the least we can do is get him some cash to ease his recovery and help him with housing costs. I don’t need to say what a relentlessly devoted member of our art scene he is, I can’t think of anyone who’s given more volunteer hours to make our scene go. Not to mention all of his own bands and artwork he’s entertained us with all these years! It’s payback time let’s hook him up! I’d love to get him 15 thousand bucks! Medical bills are intense! Thanks very much!

”I’ve always admired our local scrappy self-employed go-getters who manage to hustle and survive in the Bay area. Thats why I got in the game. There’s obvious risks to this game. The cloud of potential disaster that constantly hovers over us finally descended on me. I haven't for a second forgotten how lucky I am in this particular incident and in life in general. However, I suggest getting run down by one of our over-population of rich techies and not by an under-insured putz like I did. I will be losing my housing next month. Not for lack of rent but for a situation I was unable to address because of the accident. So that will be a challenge. But I have a great community at my back. It’s how we make it here. Looking forward to being back in the game.
