Logan's fight against cancer

Logan Paulik is a 22 year old active, happy, and  hard working young man. He was pursuing his dream career as an operating engineer when after a routine physical for work we found he had a mass in his lungs. He is so active, young, healthy and fit so we assumed it was something minor. After further testing we were told he has stage four melanoma that has spread to his lungs. We were shocked and in disbelief when we found out. He didn't show any signs or symptoms at all that would have lead us to believe that he had been living with cancer. Logan is the most caring, loving, funniest, happiest and friendliest person I know. He is always smiling and lights up every room he walks into. He is always making others laugh and feel good and has such a good heart. Within the next two weeks Logan will be starting a newer treatment called immunotherapy as well as participating in a clinical trial that only 10 people in the world are on.  Unfortunately with starting treatment and all of his appointments he will have to put his career on hold to focus on getting better. The stress of how Logan will pay for general living expenses is not something he needs to be worrying about right now. Logan is not someone to ask others for help even when needed.
