For the past 5 years, I've put together Christmas drives for families in need thru social services, Casey Family, & other non-profit organizations.  This year, one of the families submitted thru social services was for Logan who is 8 years old and his mom, Margaret.  They are homeless.

Logan & his mom are currently live in their car.  It is parked in a safe place and they use day shelters during the day, but at night they sleep in their car. They used to stay in night shelters, but Logan was having a very difficult time so they made an even harder decision to sleep in their car. They have a good routine going all things considered.

Currently they are on multiple waitlists for housing.  Immediate needs for them are gas gift cards and a sleeping bag for mom (which we will be sending immediaely).  Logan has all the warm gear for night time so thankfully he's okay.   I just want to go one step further...
In addition to a few gifts that Logan has asked for which is on the Amazon wish list that's been created for all the families needing sponsorship, I want to be able to give them a warm safe place to stay.

I'm working closely with their case manager, and I'd like to ask for your help in order to raise money for them so they can stay in a motel while they await housing placement. Once housing is found any remaining funds can be used for furniture and food to get them started in their new home. 

I know with all your help we can make a difference for Logan and his mom.
