I was heading up Burnside when a car pulled out of 66th without stopping and I hit the car on my scooter. I flew over the car landing on the pavement and then my brand-new bike exploded in flames. The car took off; hit & run; left me there unconscious. Luckily a good Samaritan drug me away from the flaming bike. I have several broken ribs, a broken collarbone, and a broken pelvis. I cannot walk for several weeks. I cannot work, either, which will put me in a bind on my bills. I am unable to help care for my 8-year old son.
