Support for Logan Whitcomb's Funeral Costs

This GoFundMe is for any cremation, celebration of life costs, and medical bills of Logan Whitcomb. 

Logan was fighting really hard since July 26th, and unfortunately today Logan was too tired and lost his battle.

Logan’s Story:

Logan was kicked off of MN state insurance, resulting in him unable to afford and take his antirejection and antiseizure meds, causing a seizure.

The fall from the seizure caused internal bleeding that required a craniotomy to release the pressure off his brain since he had severe swelling and bleeding. 

After 2 months he was transferred down to Regency since he was improving.

About 1 week into his stay at Regency he developed a severe pneumonia infection that resulted in a 911 transfer to North Memorial Hospital.

Logan fought the pneumonia and even the blood infection from the pneumonia and was stable for about 2 weeks until Friday. Friday the infection spread to his blood so severely and antibiotics couldn’t reach it. 

Early Monday morning at 2:30 AM Logan went into cardiac arrest because of the infection and he was unable to be resuscitated - unfortunately losing his long fought battle. 

Any funds that are donated here will be used to cover cremation costs, celebration of life, and any medical bills. We are grateful for anything that’s donated , and especially grateful for shares to share Logan’s journey / bring awareness to the difficult hand Logan was dealt with.
