My one of a kind, handsome and amazing son, Logan Lewis, gained his angel wings December 5, 2019. My world is shattered and words cannot describe the pain. Logan had a life-threatening milk allergy his entire life. While at school Thursday night, he had a drink that unbeknownst to him contained milk or a milk product and he was unable to get his Epipen in time to stop the reaction nor were the EMTs able to save him. Now I face the grief of his loss and how to give him a proper burial. I would appreciate any support you might consider.
Know that his death will not be in vain as my family will be working to educate everyone on the importance of understanding their allergy or helping when they encounter or know someone with a severe allergy. A parent should never have to bury their child and just maybe this awareness will avoid another child's death.
