My name is Brittanie. My 2 sons were involved in a dirt bike accident on New Year’s Eve. My oldest son, Logan, is 13. He was on the back of the dirt bike when they crashed full speed into my 5-year-old, Maverick.

Maverick has a broken femur, 3 fractures in his jaw, a fractured skull, a blood clot in the veins to the brain, stitches in his head, multiple stitches in his chin, road rash and burns all over his body, and a bruised tailbone. He will be non-weight-bearing for 8 weeks, on a liquid diet for 2 weeks, and will have multiple doctor's appointments in our near future with neurology, plastic surgery, ortho, and ENT.

Logan has a very large laceration on his heel, a bruised and swollen ankle, and road rash on both hands, knees, and leg. On top of all this stress, we have to temporarily move to an Airbnb while our house gets fixed. We don’t like to ask for help, but at this point, we could really use it for gas to and from the hospital, doctor's appointments, food while at the hospital, and Maverick's special diet. Terry will be out of work for a few weeks to help with the kids. Anything will help at this point. Even a prayer for a fast recovery.
