Help Lofte's Shakespeare go to AACT

The Lofte Community Theatre is a nonprofit organizations located in Manley, NE.  The Lofte's Mission is to providing opportunities for all ages to participate in the creative process of the performing arts and to enjoy the social, artistic and educational benefits of this art form. The Lofte production of Shakespeare's a D#@k recently was selected as one of two Nebraska Association of Community Theatre (NACT) shows to attend the American Association of Community Theatres (AACT) regional competition in Brainerd, MN.  
The Festival is April 27th thru the 30th and are slated to perform that weekend.  We are honored and excited to perform in a new city with this tremendous show and foster new relationships in the theatre world!  
As a working nonprofit theatre the Lofte Community Theatre has worked very hard to fund all events and shows thanks to the support and generosity of family, friends and supporters.  However to send Shakespear's a D#@K to this event will overextend our budget.  The Cast and Crew with permission from the Lofte Community Theatre is turning to the Go Fund Me world for help.  Your Help will get us all there in just a few weeks.  


How will we be using your funds:

Registration for performer $125 for the full weekend festival which is nine cast and crew total cost is $1125 - Paid on April 6th - Thank you for the donations

Hotels run $65 per night plus tax total estimated cost with cast and crew doubling up
is $780 

Royalties for show estimated $40 - Paid on April 6th, Thank you for the donation

Travel costs to get set, cast and crew from Nebraska to Minnesota and back to Nebraska driving estimated for trailers and vehicle fuel at $800 

We could go on and on about the casts dreams of going to Nationals and how hard we worked and are working on this show.  But all we will say is performing outside of Nebraska opens up our professional and creative networks, fosters new relationships and takes our focus to the next level.  We hope you will help us achieve our goals to reach Nationals and represent Nebraska and the midwest region.
