League of Extraordinary Mutts (LOEM) is a 501(c)(3) volunteer run dog rescue organization serving the Greater Los Angeles area. Our focus is on dogs in the shelter system that are least likely to be adopted due to age, health issues, or breed stigma. We strive to provide these dogs in need with a chance to find a loving home before they would be euthanized in the shelter system. Our team of volunteers is dedicated to treating these dogs with compassionate care so they can heal and thrive with a renewed spirit and a second chance.
We are seeking funding to help cover the costs associated with launching our organization and pulling our first 5-10 adoptable dogs from local Los Angeles city shelters.
The funds would be used to cover -
Shelter Pull Fees, Training, Boarding, Insurance, Vet fees, Events, Office Supplies, Transport, Travel to shelters, Website Design, Marketing Materials, Dog Supplies.
Our first adoption event will be held November 19th and we would like to have funds in by then so that we can have 5 dogs available for adoption at the event!
This is our passion and we appreicate every single bit of help that our wonderful friends, family, and colleagues can offer!
