I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart but also with hope and determination. I was diagnosed with liver cancer 14 years ago, but is now in end stage. I've had all kinds of treatments. I was on a transplant list, but I am no longer a candidate due to the progression and blockage of the main portal vein. This news has shaken my family to its core, but they are rallying together to support me in his fight against this relentless disease. The last treatment option is for Proton Therapy and Immunotherapy which is the latest treatment option with the hopes I will be a candidate again for transplant. These treatments are very expensive.
