Hi, my name is Emily. Scrapper Bob is my friend and neighbor. He has been on dialysis since his heart attack and needs a kidney transplant.

He got a call this morning saying he may have one! We are so excited, what an answer to prayer! He will know more by the end of the day.

He has asked me to put the word out that he will have to live by the hospital in Denver for at least three weeks because they must test him every other day to make sure his body is not rejecting the transplant. With this, he will have to pay for lodging for those three weeks, he will have to eat and everything that has to do with daily life. He will also have to find help to watch after his beloved Butch.

As you can imagine, this is going to be expensive especially in the Denver area, housing is crazy!

I have contacted DHS to find out if there is any help he can get, but there is none. His gas can be reimbursed but that is all they can help with monetarily. He had some savings, but his medical help was in jeopardy, so he had to withdraw the funds and used that to pay off the truck he was buying from a friend.
