Rob's Island Heart Beep

Rob Scott...my husband, best friend, amazing father, army veteran and career firefighter at BWI Fire and Rescue was taken from us at the young age of 49.    We were enjoying a spectacular family vacation in Turks and Caicos (aka PARADISE ISLAND).  Early Sunday morning, June 23rd, Rob headed to the beach to perform his daily stretches and exercises.  Less than 30 minutes later, a knock on our door changed our lives forever.  Rob suffered a major cardiac event and efforts to save him began.  Without any AED's (defibrillators) available,  CPR was performed.  He was taken to the local hospital and within hours life flighted to Broward  Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Efforts to save Rob, on the island and state side, were tragically unsuccessful.  At 15:13 Monday afternoon, Rob passed away surrounded by loving family and friends.   It is quite possible that  access to an AED could have saved Rob's life.  My family and I have made a commitment to raise funds necessary to provide AED's to the resorts and beach areas in and around Grace Bay Beach, Providenciales.   It is our mission to continue to save lives just as Rob did during his 24 years of service as a firefighter, driver/operator at BWI Fire and Rescue.   Please join us in our efforts to reach our goal.  Any donation, no matter the size is much appreciated.  Lets ensure every heart continues to beep!
