I’ve been talking about doing this for quite a while, and after a few years of growing my hair, it’s finally time for the chop!

I’m donating my hair to the Rapunzel Foundation, who create real-hair wigs for children experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions. Alongside this, I’m raising funds for LauraLynn Children’s Hospice through their Locks of Love campaign, which supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Ireland.

Since I’m getting my hair cut for donation, it felt like the right opportunity to take things a step further and fundraise alongside it. That way, the aim is to support not one, but two causes: helping provide wigs for children in need, while also contributing to the specialist care and support that LauraLynn provides to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
