Locke High School Marathon Club

On Sunday March 19th, I will be runinng the Los Angeles Marathon with 8 of my Locke High School Students, grades 10-12. We are all excited for the big day, with the race starting at Dodger Stadium and ending at Santa Monica Pier.
Since September, the students have been committed to their training, all while balancing school work, grades, and jobs. In addition to their dilligent training, they have pariticipated in local fundraising efforts.
As Locke is a Title 1 School, all students come from low income families, making it difficult to cover sports expenses. The money raised will go towards covering student race registeration fees, as well as purchasing their jerseys for race day.
Even a small dontation will help us reach our goal. Thank You so much for your supporting the Locke Saints!
