Locked and Stocked is a student-led non-profit organization dedicated to expanding educational access for underrepresented students of color in low-income communities. Founded in the spring of 2024, the organization recognizes the systemic barriers that limit academic opportunities for these students and seeks to bridge that gap through free tutoring, mentorship, and college preparation resources. Locked and Stocked is committed to pairing students with relatable, high-achieving mentors who share similar backgrounds, fostering not only academic growth but also confidence, cultural pride, and a sense of belonging. Our mission is to empower every student to overcome obstacles, unlock their full potential, and thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Funding will support virtual and in-person tutoring programs, summer learning initiatives, mentorship workshops, and scholarships, ensuring that opportunity is not a privilege, but a right.
