Lochlann and his U20 Ireland Lacrosse Team

Last summer, Lochlann and his teammates made history by winning the European U20 Lacrosse Championships in Poland, proudly representing their country and showing the world the talent and determination they bring to the game. Now, they’ve been given an incredible opportunity: to compete on the global stage at the U20 Lacrosse World Championships in South Korea this August!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for these dedicated young men to wear green and go head-to-head with the world’s best. But they need your help to get there.

Unlike some sports, lacrosse receives little to no financial support from national governing bodies. That means players and their families must cover nearly all expenses themselves — from flights and accommodation to kit, training camps, and tournament fees.

The total cost per player is significant — but the experience and honor of representing their country on the world stage is priceless.

We’re aiming to raise some funds to help cover Lochlann’s costs and support the team’s journey to South Korea. The fund will be split 70/30.

Lochlann is super passionate and a hardworking young athlete who has dedicated years to developing his game. Lochlann started playing Lacrosse in New York where he was born and lived for 12 years. On moving to Ireland during covid he was disappointed to learn that Lacrosse was not a well known sport here but Ireland lacrosse has since been established and works on growing the sport throughout the country. Lacrosse will be an Olympic sport in 2028 and Ireland will compete!

Balancing school, training, and travel, he’s proven himself to be a true team player and an emerging talent in Irish lacrosse.

From early mornings on the field to countless hours of practice, his commitment helped the team become European Champions in 2024 — and now, he’s ready to take on the World Championships in 2025.
