Lochie's Leukemia Fund

Donation protected
About a week ago, on the 28th of January, 2018, my sister, Cass, was told something no mother should hear.. "your son has cancer." and just like that, in an instant, the next 3 years of her family's life has changed.. My 7 year old nephew, Lochie.. a boy full of light, love, intelligence.. the eldest son of Cass and Andy, the big brother of Aidan,  has Philadelphia Chromosome-Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  The good news is.. the doctors have said it's curable through the treatment of chemotherapy.  Lochlan undergoing his first round of chemo That being said, a challenging road still lies ahead.. to support Lochie through his healing and treatment, Cass will either be working minimal hours or not at all.. meaning a family of four will go from living off dual income to single income.  As a mother of a child with cancer once said, "I've learned one thing, and that is to try to make it as normal as possible for you and your child in a very abnormal time," I would do anything to rid Lochlan of his condition.. to rid my beautiful family of the stress that will come.. to rid the road of the many bumps ahead.. but I can't. So what I am going to do is shave my head amongst other family members to support Lochie on his journey and I am going to raise as much money as possible to financially support my sister, Cass, and brother-in-law/one of my best friends, Andy. Please know that any donations won't just help financially, but will support the emotional and mental health of two beautiful parents so they can care for their two boys as best they can in a time of great unsettlement. Every donation and share will show my family how supported they are and give them the strength to get through this. Help me take the stress of money off my family so they can instead put all their energy towards making life as normal as possible in a very abnormal time.. If you are unable to donate, you can help by sharing this with your friends and family. **All donations will be going straight to Cass and Andy. Starting goal is $10,000 however we are trying to compensate for an entire annual wage loss so goal will rise as time goes on
