Gerry Rodriguez has created this campaign on behalf of his colleagues at Siemens Medical Solutions via the Local#3 IBEW brothers in NYC. Siemens Healthcare coverage is being cancelled for the the Union members and their families as a result of the recent collective bargaining process.
Justin suffers from refractory epilepsy as a result of his TBI injury when he was assaulted. He is on expensive lifetime meds and he depended on Siemens Healthcare insurance as a handicapped person for years. Siemens conceded to permit coverage at a cost of now 100% of the premium cost, $14,081./year.
Upon receiving these contributions Justin's father will then use the funds to offset this new unaffordable cost for Justin's heathcare. It is with great humility and gratitude that Justin's family thanks all those who chose to contribute.
